Welcome to Bellevue
Suburban city with endless opportunities for fun and family activities
Bellevue is a suburban city in Sarpy County, Nebraska, and the third-largest in the state. Originally settled by European Americans in the 1830s, Bellevue was founded as a trading post for the Missouri Fur Company. It was incorporated in 1855, and in 1921, the Offutt Air Base was built south of the city. The air base housed the United States Strategic Command.
Modern Bellevue is a beautiful community with great schools and parks. It offers access to major metro areas, shopping, dining, nightlife, and family-friendly activities. Bellevue maintains a rich sense of patriotism and tradition as the oldest city in the state. You'll be able to experience farmer's markets, parades, and good old-fashioned fun. Moreover, there is no shortage of luxury homes to choose from for buyers with a bigger budget.
